EXAMINATION STRUCTURE AND CONDUCTS

The professional program of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management, Ghana, is made up of three levels.

LEVEL I                              

  1. Principle of Credit Management
  2. Corporate Law
  3. Principles of Accounting
  4. Credit Risk Management
  5. Business Environment
  6. Marketing and Customer Relations

LEVEL II

  1. Corporate Credit Analysis
  2. Collections Management
  3. Enterprise Risk Management and Sustainability
  4. Financial and Quantitative Analysis for Decision -making

LEVEL III

  1. Debt Recovery and Insolvency
  2. Advanced Risk Credit Management  
  3. Integrated Analysis and Decision-making
  4. Strategic Communication, Leadership and Ethics

Examinations are held twice a year: February and August. There is no order for the selection of subjects for examination registration; candidates are, however, expected to complete one level or at least have only one subject remaining before proceeding to the next level.
